Typing is the bottleneck.

From messy speech to the right output — automatically.

PromptFlow Voice is an AI voice dictation app for Windows. Hold your hotkey, speak naturally, and it detects the app you are using — then transforms your speech into the right format and injects it directly where you are typing. No copy-paste, no cleanup.

  1. Hold your push-to-talk key. A deliberate key press activates listening.
  2. Speak naturally. Your thought stays in its natural form.
  3. PromptFlow detects the focused app. The correct work context becomes active.
  4. The finished text appears where you are typing. No copy and paste. No app switch.

One voice. Many outputs.

PromptFlow adapts your words based on where you are typing. The same spoken sentence produces a different output depending on the app that is focused.

Use as much AI as you want. Or none.

Full enhancement, grammar-only, raw transcription, translated enhanced English, or translate-only. PromptFlow can format for the app, or preserve the meaning without rewriting.

01 — Full AI Enhancement
Transform rough speech into polished, structured, context-aware output. The AI layer decides the right format based on the app you are in.
02 — Grammar-Only Correction
Keep your own words. The AI fixes grammar, clarity, and flow without restructuring or changing what you said.
03 — Transcription-Only
Capture exactly what you said with no rewriting, no cleanup, no AI touch. Pure speech-to-text.
04 — Auto-Translate to Enhanced English
Speak in French, Arabic, Japanese, or 30+ other languages — the output becomes polished, app-ready English. Dictating into Gmail produces a formatted email; dictating into Slack produces a natural message.
05 — Auto-Translate Only
Translate what you said into English without any AI rewriting or restructuring. Direct translation, same meaning, your phrasing.

Say it in any language. Get perfect English output.

Real speakers get a formatted, ready-to-use English output injected directly into their app. No copy-paste. No rewriting. No English required.

What is your typing actually costing you?

Most knowledge workers lose 2+ hours a day to typing. PromptFlow Voice dictates at up to 150 WPM versus the average 45 WPM typing speed — over 3x the throughput on text-heavy tasks.

At a $35/h rate, 2h of typing per day, switching 65% of it to voice saves roughly $183/month in time value. Voice Pro is $12/month. Net saving: ~$171/month. PromptFlow Voice costs $12/mo. You calculate the rest.

Dictation features built for real work — not demos.

Every feature below exists because raw transcription wasn't enough. Speak once; PromptFlow Voice handles the cleanup, the formatting, and the typing.

App-aware formatting

PromptFlow Voice detects which application you're dictating into and shapes the output to match. The same spoken thought becomes a structured prompt in ChatGPT or Claude, a send-ready email in Gmail, a precise instruction in VS Code, or a short direct message in Slack. You never reformat by hand.

Push-to-talk, nothing more

Hold your hotkey, speak, release. PromptFlow Voice only listens while the key is held down — there's no always-on microphone, no wake word, and nothing recorded by accident. When the key is up, the mic is off.

Speak any language, ship polished English

Dictate in French, Arabic, Japanese, German, or 30+ other languages and get clean, professional English injected straight into your app. Built by a non-native English speaker tired of transcription tools butchering his accent — the AI layer corrects what the microphone mishears.

Your terms stay yours

Brand names, code identifiers, acronyms, client names, technical jargon — PromptFlow Voice protects them exactly as written instead of "correcting" them into nonsense. Add your own vocabulary to the personal dictionary once, and every future dictation respects it.

You decide how much AI touches your words

Five modes, one keystroke apart: full enhancement for structure, grammar-only to clean up your own voice, transcription-only for exactly what you said, and two translation modes — polished or literal. Most dictation tools are all-or-nothing. This one isn't.

Zero copy-paste, any Windows app

The finished text appears directly where your cursor is — email client, browser, code editor, chat window. No floating companion window, no clipboard step, no switching apps to collect your text. If you can type there, you can dictate there. Windows 10 and 11.

Windows voice typing gives you text. PromptFlow gives you usable output.

A side-by-side look at PromptFlow Voice versus Windows Voice Typing (Win+H) — what actually happens after you stop speaking.

Capability Windows Voice Typing (Win+H) PromptFlow Voice
Raw speech capture Converts speech into plain text. Converts speech into text, then decides what the output should become.
Removes filler words Types every "um," false start, and repeated word literally. Strips filler, false starts, and self-corrections so the text reads like you meant it.
Focused app context Does not know which app you are typing in. Detects the app context and adapts the output for Gmail, AI tools, code editors, browsers, or chat.
Email formatting Leaves you with a paragraph to clean up. Can create a subject line, greeting, structured body, and send-ready tone.
AI prompt formatting Still requires manual prompt engineering. Turns rough ideas into structured prompts with role, task, constraints, and expected output.
Translation No translation — transcribes whatever language you speak, as-is. Supports translate + enhancement for app-ready English, or translate-only when you want the same meaning without rewriting.
Control level All-or-nothing literal transcription. Choose full enhancement, grammar-only, transcription-only, enhanced translation, or direct translation.
Your vocab is protected Often mishears names, tools, acronyms, and domain terms. Protects brand names, code identifiers, acronyms, jargon, and personal dictionary terms.
Final placement Types raw text at your cursor — you still fix and reformat by hand. Injects the finished, formatted text directly where you are typing.

Frequently asked questions about PromptFlow Voice

PromptFlow Voice is a standalone desktop product. Choose how much AI assistance you want each time you speak.

What is PromptFlow Voice?
PromptFlow Voice is a Windows push-to-talk app that turns speech into clean, context-aware text and types it directly into any application. You hold a hotkey and speak naturally — filler words, corrections, accent and all — and the AI layer produces polished text formatted for wherever you're typing: an AI chat, an email, a code editor, or a message.
Is PromptFlow Voice free?
PromptFlow Voice has a 7-day free trial with no credit card required, including 15 AI-enhanced dictations per day. After the trial, Voice Pro is $12/month with hosted AI included and 100 AI-enhanced dictations per day. Prefer to pay once? The BYOK plan is a $49 one-time lifetime license using your own API keys.
Is my voice recorded or stored?
No audio is stored on PromptFlow servers. PromptFlow Voice only listens while you hold the push-to-talk key — there is no always-on microphone. Your speech is processed by the transcription and AI providers for your plan (PromptFlow-managed infrastructure on Voice Pro, or your own API keys on BYOK), then the text is typed and the audio is gone.
How is PromptFlow Voice different from Wispr Flow?
Both turn natural speech into clean, formatted text on Windows. PromptFlow Voice differs in three ways: a $49 one-time BYOK license instead of subscription-only pricing, five output modes (full enhancement, grammar-only, transcription-only, and two translation modes) instead of one automatic behavior, and explicit speak-any-language-to-English workflows. A year of Wispr Flow Pro costs about $180; PromptFlow Voice BYOK costs $49 once.
How is this different from Windows built-in voice typing (Win+H)?
Windows voice typing transcribes literally — every "um," false start, and misheard word lands in your text, and it has no idea what app you're in. PromptFlow Voice adds an AI layer that removes filler, fixes grammar, corrects accent-related errors, and formats the result for the application you're dictating into.
I don't always want AI rewriting my words. Can I turn it down?
Yes — that's the point of the modes. Grammar-only mode keeps your exact words and fixes only grammar and clarity. Transcription-only mode captures precisely what you said with no changes at all. You choose per dictation, so a heartfelt message stays yours while a work email gets the full polish.
Does it work if English isn't my first language?
That's exactly who it was built by and for. Speak in your language — or in accented English — and PromptFlow Voice produces clean English output. Auto-translate mode converts 30+ languages into app-ready English; the enhancement layer also corrects the transcription drift that accents cause in ordinary dictation tools.
Can I use my own API keys?
Yes. The BYOK (bring-your-own-keys) plan connects your own Deepgram and Gemini API keys, so you control the models and pay providers directly at cost. It's a $49 one-time license with the full app-aware dictation workflow included — no monthly subscription.
Which apps does it work in?
Any Windows application with a text field: Gmail and Outlook, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, VS Code and other editors, Slack, WhatsApp Desktop, browsers, Office. PromptFlow Voice injects finished text directly at your cursor, so there's no companion window and no copy-paste step. Requires Windows 10 or 11.
Do I need the PromptFlow Pro Chrome extension to use it?
No. PromptFlow Voice is a standalone Windows desktop app and works everywhere on its own. PromptFlow Pro is a separate product — a prompt library extension for ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. They pair well if you live in AI chats, but neither requires the other.
Is this related to Microsoft's Prompt flow?
No. Microsoft's Prompt flow is a developer framework for building LLM applications, and Microsoft is retiring it in April 2027. PromptFlow Voice is an independent voice dictation app for Windows made by PromptFlow (promptflow.digital), the maker of PromptFlow Pro and the Live Marketing Data MCP.
Where can I download PromptFlow Voice?
PromptFlow Voice is available on the Microsoft Store and directly from promptflow.digital/voice. The 7-day free trial starts immediately after install — no credit card, no account hoops.

Implement a robust concurrency control mechanism to prevent application crashes and data loss when multiple users attempt to edit the same resource simultaneously.

- Analyze the current data update logic to identify the root cause of the crash during concurrent writes.
- Implement Optimistic Concurrency Control (OCC) using a versioning field or timestamp to detect and prevent "lost updates."
- Update the backend to handle write conflicts gracefully, returning a specific error or status code (e.g., 409 Conflict) when a race condition is detected.
- Ensure the frontend handles these conflict responses by notifying the user and providing a path to resolve the discrepancy (such as refreshing the data) instead of crashing.
- Provide production-quality code with clear error handling and minimal unrelated refactors.

Hear it happen — full recordings, two languages

These two demos use AI-generated narration — German and Hindi aren’t languages the creator speaks — used purely to show the translation pipeline end to end. Dictating in your own voice performs the same or better; there’s no synthetic audio to smooth over in real use.

A microphone you can trust.

Mic on only when you ask

The microphone activates only when you start a dictation — key held or locked hands-free. No always-on listening, no wake word.

No audio storage

Hosted audio and transcripts are deleted immediately after processing — never stored. On the free local tier, audio never leaves your machine at all.

Bring your own keys

On BYOK, your speech goes straight to your own Deepgram and LLM provider accounts. Your data, your providers.

Encrypted at rest

API keys and license are encrypted with Windows DPAPI. Device identity is a one-way hash — never raw hardware identifiers.

Free browser companion

PromptFlow Pro — a free prompt library that sharpens Voice in the browser.

Our Chrome extension puts a searchable prompt library inside ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini — with multi-step prompt chaining and doc-to-.json conversion. Run it alongside Voice and it reads your browser context more precisely, so formatting gets even more accurate. Completely free, works with or without Voice.
